THE POWER OF INTENTION:
Learning to Co-Create Your World Your Way

Dr. Wayne W. Dyer

It is always an inspiration to spend time with Dr. Wayne Dyer, either via one of his many PBS television seminars, or through the pages of his latest book. Understanding the power of INTENTION is not a simple matter. There are many lenses through which it can be viewed – psychological, sociological, political, theological. Each lens will show only a particular facet of this attribute of consciousness. Dr. Dyer has managed to take the individual lenses and deftly assemble them – the result presents the full kaleidoscopic beauty embodied in the Power of Intention as it draws upon the unlimited potential of the field of all possibilities. “If you are experiencing scarcity, anguish, depression, and absence of love, or any inability to attract what you desire, seriously look at how you’ve been attracting these circumstances into your life...”– Dr. Wayne Dyer from THE POWER OF INTENTION.

INSPIRATION:
Your Ultimate Calling

Dr. Wayne W. Dyer

“There’s a voice in the Universe entreating us to remember our purpose, our reason for being here now in this world of impermanence. The voice whispers, shouts, and sings to us that this experience – of being in form in space and time – has meaning. That voice belongs to inspiration, which is within each and every one of us.”, writes Dr. Dyer in the introduction to his latest book, INSPIRATION: Your Ultimate Calling. Those familiar with THE POWER OF INTENTION, will recognize that in this book Dr. Dyer takes us the next step forward in the process of manifesting that which each of us as individuals, or in group formation, are here to do. Living an inspired life is living a life In Spirit NOW, not later when you’ve left your body for an eternal rest. The good stuff is here, now and we are all capable of achieving our greatest goals and dreams.

LEFT TO TELL:
Discovering God Amidst the Rwandan Holocaust

Immaculée Ilibagiza with Steve Erwin

For many, the horror of events that took place in Rwanda, beginning in April, 1994, were brought to light through two powerful films – Sometime in April, and Hotel Rwanda. While these films depict a few of the personal experiences of those caught up in the genocide, they tend to be filed away as simply two more cinematic stories. For Immaculée Ilibagiza, it was a real-time nightmare and struggle for survival. Over a period of 91 days, she remained hidden, along with seven other women, in a tiny bathroom in the home of a local minister. This is her story of those days, told with a gentle but passionate Love – for her country, her family members and friends who were slaughtered, her surviving brother and even more important for her faith in the Creator. This is a story of a young girl who, like Abraham, Moses, Buddha, Mohammed, and Christ, faced her own crisis and battle between the Good Within and the evil that challenges it, and her journey to forgiveness.

While this is an emotionally difficult book to read as it is the story of a holocaust survivor – not one from another era, but one from our current time, it is one that will bring the reader to a deeper understanding of how faith and love triumphs over all else.

A MANTLE OF ROSES:
A Woman’s Journey Home to Peace

Virginia Swain

The author, Virginia Swain, is a remarkable individual, and this is her personal story of growth and adventure. For the past several years, I have had the good fortune of working with Virginia, while participating in the Global Leadership Seminars, which she leads. Her commitment to ending the cycle of violence through the advocacy of the reconciliation process is the gift she brings to the global Peace Initiative. The Reconciliation Leadership Certificate program and Global Mediation and Reconciliation Services, founded and led by Ms. Swain, are an important contribution to the “International Decade for a Culture of Peace and Nonviolence for the Children of the World” (2001-2010). Her life and work is truly an inspiration.
